I think sometimes in life, we all hit road blocks. We all get discouraged, and think that we are not good enough. There are times when something that used to come naturally disappears.
What I have learned is this: if you truly want it, and you truly believe in yourself, you can do absolutely anything you want to. Nothing is impossible, and nothing is out of reach if you want it badly enough.
Just a few days ago I posted about not being sure if art is my future. I can say that I am still not sure what I will be studying in college, but I assure you I have not given up on art. I promise you that I will continue to paint. I just hit a wall for a while, and I got terribly discouraged. Well, yesterday I went to the store, bought canvases and paint, and created this.
I am not sure what to call it yet. If you can’t tell, it is a self portrait. Painted in acrylic (which is not usually my choice media).
